The Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association of Grand Bahama (BASRA-GB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing search and rescue assistance to mariners in distress in the waters of Grand Bahama and its surrounding areas. Established in 1990, BASRA-GB is staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers who are ready to respond to any search and rescue situation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The organization is committed to providing professional and timely assistance to those in danger and works closely with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association, and other local organizations to ensure the best possible outcome for all involved.
