Review Super Value Store "CLOSING BEFORE CLOSING TIME"

Good morning, I would like to know who is the relevant authority in respect to how you all operate your business in the Bahamas? I had an experience at Super Value on East St and Robinson Rd yesterday afternoon ( Wednesday Aug 5th 2020) where I was told at 4.50 pm that they were close because they officially close at 5 pm. The manager cited that "he has a responsibility to allow his staff to be home before the curfew". I know the food stores are an essential service so the Manager should appeal to his superiors to provide the staff with confirmation letters if they are approached by law enforcement which would exonerate them. IT'S UNETHICAL AND WRONG TO CLOSE THE STORE BEFORE THE EXACT CLOSE TIME! PLEASE CORRECT ME IF AM WRONG! THANKS.
