Review of Bahamas Passport Office

This is just to find out how long does it takes for a citizen of the Bahamas takes to receive a passport.I have applied from September,2014 and now it's December,2014. and still not ready. They gave me a number saying 'it will be read next week'. Or placed on hold and never returned. I think the waiting period for Bahamians is 6 weeks and foreigners is 1 year. The service is deplorable.
